Hi all,
So I noticed on the Samsung web page that for my Samsung evo the firmware should be ISO 2B2QEXE7
and for my Samsung 970 Evo Plus 4B2QEXM7
Yet when I check they are both report firmware 2B2QEXE7.
Do i have a issue with my Samsung 970 Evo Plus?

Hi
I'll suspect as a community forum this is mostly populated by other users with a few Samsung officials. Not much chance of getting an official answer it appears.
However, I'll confirm i can see the same advice on Samsung website
and that both my NVMe 970 EVO Plus drives show the "wrong" firmware.
I'll contact Samsung Support to see if i can get an official answer. I suspect it's a typo on the website or in Samsung Magician.

Also worth noting that your 970 EVO Plus firmware ends M7 and your 970 EVO ends E7 and not as you say
I suspect there is a typo with the first character of the EVO Plus firmware on the website and they have typed 4B2QEXM7 rather than 2B2QEXM7.
Or Samsung Magician is reporting the wrong firmware number (less likely), and it should be displaying 4B2QEXM7 rather than 2B2QEXM7 for our EVO Plus drives.

So Samsung SSD support said
so let’s see if the website gets updated.
