Hello,

Yesterday I received my new laptop Samsung Galaxy Book 4 edge. After setting it up I downloaded and installed the available Samsung harware updates on the machine.

But after that as I restarted my system, the screen goes blank once the system is booted.

While swithcing on I only get to see the Samsung logo loading for a few secs and then everything goes blank on the screen although the laptop is still power on.

This machine uses the new SD X Elite chip. Does anyone else facing the same issue?

You're very lucky to get the machine so early. Try booting into BIOS and restoring defaults. Tap F2 to load BIOS, then look for the options to set default values.

BEst return it as faulty, do not go fo a repair, then hopefully buy another, as hear it is a Stellar laptop

Leave it in the blank screen state for an hour or so.

I have the same problem , in the meantime I won't install the update

The are more problems like the quick share not working between samsung devices. 

The samsung earbuds also dont auto switch between the lapto and mobile, whereas it wors perfect between mobile and tab.

I think i'll just return this machine and go for book 4 pro...
