so I’ve had a galaxy book pro 4 two years now I’ve sent it in recently for the battery which dies extreme quickly like with in an hour I will charge it and I’ll be dead in the hour and the issue is that it overheat so I can’t charge it while it’s on at the same time because it will not be charged while it’s hot but I mean uni student and I’ve sent a in to get it fixed, but it’s come back with the same exact problem that’s not been fixed and I don’t know what to do. He said is it a software issues but it’s still having the same exact issue like it’s the batteries and worse now and I’m so confused what I’m supposed to do

Send it back again

Samsung repairs gain a warranty.

Contact Samsung Customer Service although I suspect it may not be the battery, you may have apps or system that is working in the background draining your battery.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Annoying when it's midterm for uni and faults occur. To be honest, your best bet is to keep it on charge, get your term done, and then send it back—Samsung repairs come with a warranty.

I know you say it overheats—this shouldn't happen. Make sure fans are cleared and adjust power settings to allow higher fan speeds/performance modes.

Check your apps- go to cmd, open as admin and run
winget list > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\installed_apps.txt"

This should give you a list of all downloaded software in a list- go through them

Worst case scenario, most UNIs have emergency timescales—things happen. Either get any extensions or borrow a laptop—no uni won't allow one of these.
