I've had a bad year, and am trying to get Meltdown & Spectre updates for my 2013 NP350C-A05UK laptop. This had an i3 twin core, Windows-8.1 (which rapidly died updating to windows-8.1), but now happily runs linux Slackware64. I get this from /proc/cpuinfo
model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz
stepping : 9
microcode : 0x15
bugs : cpu_meltdown spectre_v1 spectre_v2 spec_store_bypass
I've had 5 months in hospital, so I missed the fixes as they happened. Intel are sending me to my manufacturer for fixes. That is Samsung Where's the fixes? I should have microcode 0x32 or something like that. Can it be loaded through the linux kernel?
