Hello everybody,
Can I found somewhere some newer firmwares for my LS49A950UIUXEN? In the english website there are no updates. I am a little bit upset because I encounter some issues with the wake-up from standby, video signal detection and after wake-up from standby the inputs are taking a long break everytime.
Thank you

you mean to use the Monitor with a MBP and send the video signal to monitor using a USB-C cable? That's possible.
You have to consider two things:
- make sure you use a proper quality cable - the original you get with the monitor is good
- only one USB-C input you find on the monitor can transfer video. The other one is DATA-only

I've been using for a year a display port cable (with and without power) with some success. Sometimes the "native" resolution of 5120x1440 (or others) with 120Hz was not a available. I don't know why.
Finally I downloaded an app that solved my problems with the apple driver. It's called "BetterDisplay". You can download it for free and use it for about 2 weeks. It's not expensive, about 20€. No more display resolution problems last 3 months with the use of this app.

I have tested all combinations with expansive cables still no video to screen via usb c

Are you using the right USB-C port on the monitor? As i've replied to you earlier, only one of them acts as Video input.
Are you able to test with another laptop/ipad in order to make sure that the laptop does not have any problem? iPads are working too.
I rarely reboot my Macbook and I had this problem once, it was solved with a reboot.

Yes I have tested on iPad and tested on other screens at the office it works so there is not issue with my hardware it also works with display port to usb but that is not the same thing. But when I connect usbc cable it comes usbc connected popup but no video signal.

it looks like you are in an unfortunate situation that you hardware is defective... most probably. -> personal opinion, i am not a technician, nor Samsung representative.
However, I still have an idea that may help; what firmware version you have?
You find it in OSD Menu -> Support -> Information -> Software Version.
Once, Samsung support sent me with a FW and the install process described there. It may worth to try re-flash your monitor using the official procedure if your current firmware is the same or older version than what I can give you.
The firmware I can give you is M-A9549SGPA-1004.0[8C1D].bin. Let me know if you want to try it, and i'll give you the download links.

please share the FW. I seem to have the same firmware -M-A9549SGPA-1004.0

Hi, you are right, i've somehow forgot to select the bin file too. I've updated the archive on the same link. Please try again.
