Line on monitor

Hi,

I recently bought a 27" gaming monitor (CJG50) from Samsung however after plugging it all in and turning on my PC I've noticed lines going across the screen and I have no idea why. This is supposed to be a 2k monitor but so far my 1080p monitor seems much better. I've tried it with my nowTV box and changed the cables and it still has the lines.

I'm hoping it's something simple and not a faulty monitor.

It could be firmware, or it could be hardware, or interference from something close. If its none of these id get it replaced

I've tried it on both my PC and NowTV box, used different cables etc and it won't fix it. Might just ask for a refund.
