Hiya,
Pretty cut and dry, I purchased this monitor several weeks ago and have been using it fairly often, after about 2 weeks I began to notice white lines flickering in random areas across the width of the screen, sometimes thin, sometimes thick, sometimes often and sometimes not at all. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. I've changed cable 3 times and it stops for a while then begins after about 2 weeks of the new cable. My PC hasn't changed at all and the flickering doesn't appear on my secondary monitor even when connected though the same DP1.4a port on my GPU with the same cable.
Honestly losing my mind over it and really don't want to go through the hassle of shipping a £400 monitor back via a courier. Thanks in advance!

I'm seeing the flickering and checkerboarding on the screen, but also it goes to a "suspend" mode, where I have to move my mouse to get the screen to come back on. I've replaced DP cables, but does anyone know whether the problem occurs on HDMI?
Thanks! Bill@TX

Apparently, the problem doesn't occur on HDMI (but HDMI max refresh rate is 120 Hz). Also, it doesn't occur (using DP) if you use any refresh rate under 120Hz. But we paid a lot of money for a monitor 165 Hz, so what is the point, right?

Is Samsung going to post a firmware upgrade to address this? Or are we going to be left out in the cold to live with it?

I am already making my way to have my money back. I suggest you to do the same.
