I have a S7 edge with 32GB memory. I also have a 200GB external memory card in the phone. Does anyone know if I can save from The Gear 360 to the external memory card rather than to the internal memory?
(Please don't suggest the option of making the 200GB memory as combined with the 32GB internal memory, I don't want to do that).

Thanks for the suggestions. I made it up The Shard with a 40 mile visibility. I could even see Wembley. Westminster was good, Hard Rock Cafe, Covent Garden etc. etc.

I have previously uploaded a small video which shows in 360 degrees on YouTube. I now have a video from the Gear 360 which shows as a 360 view on my S7 edge. When I up load it to YouTube a get the flat twisted version which hasn't been processed as a 360 view. Any ideas?

Thanks for sharing @antonp are you using the Actiondirector software for your edits?
We would love to see some of the footage you've captured - feel free to share when you can!
Yes I am now using ActionDirector for some of my edits with joining up videos, etc. It produces some good results, but can take time in processing. However, it does have some good features and is worth having a go with. Here are some of my videos on YouTube;

The problem with moving to external storage AFTER saving to the phone is that sometimes the phones internal memory is not large enough to take save the file. Also since I have a Mac there is no other way for me to stitch the pictures and videos other than "saving." This have become a (hopefully temporary) dissapointment.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue?? I have been trying to get the videos off of my 360 and on to my external memory card since July. I even went and purchased a 200g card to try and make this work and I am still getting the error message saying I don't have enough space. The internal memory dies not have enough but that is why I am trying to save to the external memory card. Please, if someone has a solution for this, I will be eternally hreatful because as of right now, I am ready to throw this little ball out of the window!!! Lol I just really want to get these videos off of the camera and have them be properly stitched so I can show everyone how cool it is, but at the moment it's kind of just a fancy paperweight. Please help!!!! I have changed all setting to say save to internal but it still doesn't seem to want to work. Going crazy over here!!

This really is a major handicap when using the Gear 360. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge that has a few games and a few apps installed, everything that can be moved, has been moved to SD card. With all of the apps that we are forced to keep installed (cannot be removed), and all the updates to both Android and these apps, I can usually only manage 1-2GB of free internal memory. I have videos on the camera that I cannot copy to my phone because there is not enough space. I have 120GB free space on my phone's SD card but I have to move a few pictures at a time and can only move the smallest videos, one at a time.
I was going to purchase a Samsung Galaxy tablet just so I could have a device that I could transfer my photos and videos onto but they are not compatible with the Gear 360!
My request/s would be:
1, allow the SD card in my phone to be configured as adaptable memory that would create enough internal memory to manage my 360 properly.
OR
2, allow pictures and videos to be transferred, via Gear 360 Manager, directly to the phone's external (SD card) memory.
I love my Gear 360, especially that I can view the photos and videos with my Gear VR. However, I don't use it anywhere near as much as I could because of the limitations of how the pictures and videos have to be handled.
How is it that a company as capable as Samsung cannot find a solution to this?
