I recently purchased a 27 inch Smart TV in order to use it as a monitor for my HP PC. All was working fine for about 3 months, then it stopped receiving any signal. I bought a new cable , reset the TV, and spent around 5-6 hours on the phone to support without any resolution.
If i plug in another device ie DVD player it works, i plug my pc into another TV it works, seems like a compatability issue between the 2 devices, that no one can resolve.
I was even advised to downgrade the firmware only to find that you cannot do that.
So i am left with a 6 month old Smart TV that i cannot use, and no one will take responsibility for .
Any suggestions great fully received.

After 5-6 hours on the phone to Samsung, i finally found a thread which said to disconnect the power, and hold the on/off button for 30 seconds, seems to have worked. Funny thing is itried this with the support team and nothing happened.

Have you tried changing the graphics settings on (I'm assuming) Windows? Maybe match the PC graphics settings on the one that works to the one that isn't?

I’m continually having HDMI issues with a Samsung S95C TV and the Q800C soundbar. It regularly loses connection and reverts to the TV speaker. According to Samsung this happens on the S95C and D models but not earlier (which is ***** as I have the S95B and Q600C and it happens here too). It’s a known software fault according to Samsung but they are unable to provide an ETA on a fix. I originally had a Yamaha soundbar, and knowing each manufacturer has their own implementation of HDMI CEC, I thought a Samsung soundbar may improve matters. It hasn’t. It’s probably worse.
I have asked for a refund but Samsung won’t do that and say contact the retailer, who say it’s a Samsung issue. I could just sell it, take the loss and buy an LG or something, but just spent 6K on a Hi-Fi so can’t really afford that right now. If necessary I’ll take this to court. I
