I have a new Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. When it is shutdown it seems to lose 1% battery charge a day (so, if it's been shutdown for 4 days, it will have lost about 4% charge when it is next turned on).
Is this normal and to be expected? I've had several online chats with Samsung tech support and have had differing answers to that question from different representatives. The most recent insisted it was to be expected and all laptops would be the same. I asked them the question: so, if a Samsung laptop is left shutdown for 100 days, it would be expected for it to completely drain it's battery, correct? They said yes.
I've turned off Fast Startup and Always on USB power but the loss of charge still seems to be present.
If it's normal, no problem. If not experienced by others then it's presumably a cause for concern.
I'd really appreciate any opinions on this and hearing the experience of others. Do i need to be worried about this or is there nothing wrong with my computer? Any advice on eliminating the loss would be great too.
Maybe a Samsung technical representative could give some opinions as well, it would be really appreciated.

Ah, okay, thanks. That possible cause hadn't occurred to me, I'll check to see if I've got that turned on. Cheers.

No, I've not been using Sleep or Hibernate but shutting down instead.
By 'should not be an issue' do you mean that if you shutdown there shouldn't be any loss of charge or just that Microsoft Edge shouldn't be an issue or the culprit if you shutdown?
