Hi there, I've recently reinstalled Windows 11 Home on my Galaxy Book4 Edge 14in laptop. Everything went well (I wrote a guide for anyone interested in the installation process on those new machines here), drivers reinstalled themselves automatically via Windows Update.
However, when I start Samsung Settings, the "display" section in the UI is completely missing. In the past, when this happened to my other Galaxy Book laptop, I'd be able to download the "Display Color Profile" from the Samsung Update app and the section would "magically" reappear.
Could someone from Samsung Support please be able to either
Thanks!

@caccialdo, Can't you download Display Color Profile from Samsung Update app ?

I did download it using a different model (Book4 Pro 14' which uses a very similar panel), but it doesn't add the color profiles in the Windows Display settings and the content of the Display section in Samsung Settings doesn't have the same options as the ones I used to have when the laptop was fresh out of the box.

@kamil40013 I can now confirm that Color Engine has become available in the Microsoft app store. The display section in Samsung Settings is now here.
That's really great progress! The only thing remaining is the fact that changing the color profile in there doesn't appear to do anything 😞

Hi, thank you so much for your guide. I had to do a full wipe after the restore crashed, but I now also have the same issue with the display colour profiles. Have you ever sorted it?

Unfortunately not. I managed to retrieve the color profiles from a demo unit at a Samsung store for the exact same model and manually applied them in the Windows display settings. I've uploaded them here in case anyone needs them.
Still nothing on the Samsung Settings front though. This is very weird. Seems like the factory disk images that Samsung uses before shipping the laptops to retail stores contains some code, files or registry entries that don't get re-applied when setting up the machine manually. I just wish Samsung would provide disk images on their support pages or let you reinstall Windows from the bios like Asus or Apple does. Oh well...

Did you manage to fix this? I have exactly the same problem.

I never did unfortunately. I just Windows display profile settings instead. Doesn't seem like Samsung will ever fix that issue...
