Copilot Crashing Fix for Windows 11 + Samsung Devices
If Copilot instantly crashes when launched on Windows 11 on your Book laptop, check for a service called “Quick Search Service” (by Samsung Electronics Co.).
Using MSConfig, disable that service—this fixed the issue for me immediately.
Steps:
- Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter
- Go to Services, tick “Hide all Microsoft services”
- Find “Quick Search Service” and disable it
- Restart your PC and test Copilot
