I have an Oddessy G5 monitor that's hooked up to two computers - my home PC and my work laptop. Setup is PC on display port, laptop on HDMI. I have a USB switch for the keyboard and mouse, PC is set to sleep the monitors after 10 minutes.
Now while I appreciate the eco friendliness of the monitor, it's getting a bit old with how annoying it is to get the monitor to wake back up whenever I shut down the laptop. As soon as the HDMI connection drops, the monitor is taking a nap. No "no signal" message or anything. Is there any way to get the monitor to stop this annoying behavior so that it's not taking the better part of a minute just to swap the input back over to the Display Port?
