Hi All,
Today I bought the Samsung Odyssey G7 LS32BG700EUXEN 32” screen for my PS5. I installed the latest software on the monitor via WiFi and even I installed the 4K 120HZ settings on my PS5. Did the 1440p test and this screen was compatible for 120Hz.
However, I did some research to see how every user of this monitor changes the refresh rate from 60Hz to 144Hz mid game via the setup menu from the monitor illustrated below.
After I installed my screen and I did the update, I am not able to see the game setup menu as mentioned above. The only setup screen I see by pushing the control button under the monitor is illustrated below:
I know not al games on the PS5 are 120Hz supported but I tried this on compatible games for 120Hz like: F1 2023, Hogwarts Legacy and MW3.
As mentioned my FPS is locked on 60Hz and I can’t change this into 120 or 144.
I also use a HDMI 2.1 input for the screen.
Please can someone help me out?
Thankyou in advance,

I had this exact issue on PC with Samsung Odyssey G7 (only 60 or 120hz though) , Solved by going into menu of monitor, and down to DP version, and select 1.4, not 1.1 1.2.
Maybe the same for HDMI versions on console? im not too sure.
Screen flashed abit then came back, and after that there was always options for my resolution on nvidia control panel: 144hz, 165hz, 240hz.
Hope this helps people, but console hopefully isnt that different. As i say, the menu on the monitor buttons did it for me.
