Can I use a Tab A 10.1 2019 to take handwritten notes on screen?

I bought a Tab A 10.1 2019 in order to do note taking for work and save my handwritten notes immediately (need to ditch the paper note pads and scanning task that goes with them).

Now I get the information from Samsung's website that the S Pen does not work with this Tablet. But it was included in reviews as great for notetaking. Confused and not yet tried to start up and use it, so would like to know if anyone uses it this way and if it is successful. Also, if so, what stylus or digital pen works with it.

If not, then I guess I need to return it and start again.

We hate to disappoint but we can confirm that this tablet is not compatible with the S Pen, we're afraid. Can you remember where you read the review that it was great for notetaking?

Sorry to butt in on this, but looking for a stylus myself. Seeing as the S-Pen is incompatible with this tablet, which stylus is anyone using on the Tab A (2019)?
