49" Odyssey G9 OLED optimization message (v1310)

Hi!

I love this monitor BUT I haven't found anything in the settings to disable the screen optimization message. I'm doing competitive racing and the message is enough to end the whole race for me. Any ideas? If there's no way to disable the message, at least show it in the corner, not in the middle of the screen. 

Does this seem ok to anyone who's in the middle of a race or doing whatever that requires 100% concentration and 1 millisecond can change everything?

A new version (1402.6) is out .

The notification is now at the top right corner and has a timer on it. When timer runs out and no action is taken, it will automatically start optimization. Not great but that's better than having it in the middle of the screen. Step in the right direction.

Anyone get a concrete solution for this hunk of junk? The monitor is gorgeous and wonderful, but did you have a team of 1st graders design the software and menus for it?

If you think competitive gaming is bad, try having it force a 10min shutdown in the middle of a live virtual sales call. After having scrambled in the middle of a conversation to find the remote. Rough.

I created an account just to complain about this too.  For a smart monitor, this is a very dumb feature.  How did this make it out of beta?  This must be immediately fixed, because it's a gaming monitor that destroys games.

Samsung - this is unacceptable. 

Please please firmware update this to either allow us to update it, or to set it for a specific time of day.  You gave us no control over when our screen disables. Can you guys NOT understand how this is a bad idea for EVERYONE?

Personally, I would rather buy a new monitor every couple of years rather than deal with this.

As it stands, I may retire this monitor soon and get something else that DOESN'T shut off unpredicably every couple of days.

This shut down in the middle of a video call for me AGAIN. How is this not fixed yet? This is a critical failure in an expensive product.  Nobody should buy this until it's fixed, learn from my mistake.

I agree. This drives me nuts and makes me hate this monitor. It also pops up and takes control when I'm in games. HTF is this not an option to schedule while I sleep or turn off. FIX THIS SAMSUNG!
