Reminder is an app that makes it easy for you to keep lists of things to do and things to remember. It provides a smart feature that notifies you in advance of times, places, and situations related to your things to do. Reminders set with alarms can also be checked on the Calendar.

Continuing the journey into what's new in One UI 5, in this article (once again with some expert assistance from my Reminder app friends!) we’ll be looking at the best ways to check your completed reminders.

Show/hide completed reminders

To check or restore completed reminders, you had to go to the 'Completed' category. Now, you can check completed reminders right on the list screen.

  • Tap the 'More options' button at the top right of the screen, then select 'Show completed reminders'.
  • Tap 'Hide completed reminders' when you want to focus on the tasks you have yet to complete.

Search button in the Completed category

Did you know that you can search for completed reminders too? There’s a search button in the ‘Completed’ category as well. Now, tap the search button from any screen to quickly search for the reminder you’re looking for.

Complete Filter of the search screen

In addition to ‘Checklists/Images/Links’ (the three existing filters) there’s a ‘Complete’ filter on the search screen to help you search for reminders more quickly.

You can select multiple filters at the same time, and you can also search using both search terms and filters together. Try searching in different ways!

Undo right after completing a task

Have you ever had to redo a task you completed or accidentally marked a task complete by mistake?

If you tap the ‘Complete’ button from the Reminder app, you can restore reminders by tapping the ‘Undo’ button in the ‘Reminder completed’ notification.

Samsung Reminder app now allows not only to add images to reminders, but also to download them.

The website link of where a screenshot was taken is preserved when the screenshot is added to as a reminder.

Best feature for me is the ability to share reminders. For example, I share a couple of repeating reminders with my other half and either of us can complete the reminder with the other person receiving a notification. Very convenient!

Don't update it everything from causing every single app to crash which never happen before once to Samsung demanding before too all of the codes of your devices including IMIE NUMBERS and full product codes given then to bypass even VPN and other encryptions under protest Samsung insisting they neededcompleqty diagnosed they needed it to fix phone not ever been able to use their insanely over complicated not smarthingsapp it's a bad update the worst ever security patch and other Android updates I've ever experienced and I've been a customer of theirs for 20 plus years but that's the this is the last Samsung I'll ever own

Pity the new UI and Android updat is causing a conflict between Blue Tooth and WiFi. This never was a problem before the update. Now only works at full WiFi speed if the auto connect for the WiFi is turned off

completely agree, dont think I have ever used it and dont intend to, why would you tie yourself into apps that only work on one brand of phone ? I use Nova but there are other, launchers it sets my phone up as I  like it to look, I can use it on any phone or android tablet, I use various apps that probably do the same thing but I dont HAVE to be using a samsung to use them, a samsung with nice completely stock android with just the added bits as standalone apps would be far nicer and more efficient, and if you dont need them or want them then just get rid, how much time money and effort is put into stuff large numbers of people just dont want/need/use ?
