For many of us, shooting personal videos has become second nature. Sharing little clips from important events can be the perfect way to stay connected and keep our loved ones up to date. Of course, your Galaxy device is always ready to help out, but why not go one step further and give your videos a special edge by using Live Focus Video? 

With Live Focus Video you can blur the background, focusing on the details that matter the most and directing your viewer's attention to the right part of the frame. You can also apply different video effects to give your homemade movies a slicker, cinematic feel. Cool right?

How to use Live Focus Video:

1. With your device unlocked, launch the camera app
2. Swipe through the camera options to LIVE FOCUS VIDEO
3. Tap the more options icon – a small circle in the corner of the live frame – to choose a video effect
4. Tap an effect and use the slider to set its intensity
   • For example, you can create an old-fashioned style by adding a glitchy background 
5. Tap anywhere inside the live frame to close the more options menu
6. Position your subject in the frame and tap their face on the screen to put it in focus. If you want to switch between the front and rear cameras, tap the switch camera icon first
7. Tap the record button to record your video
   • To pause recording, tap the pause button
8. To finish recording, tap the stop button
