Unable to use iPlayer with BD-H8900M combo

Unable to use any players on my BD - H8900M combo player. They are in the smart hub but when I attempt to use them it says Samsung does not support them. I have reset the smart hub but to no effect. This appears to have been an issue for a while in the community. Has anyone solved it? Or will it never work?

 HI @Jayarem  This Blu Ray player from  does now not appear to be in list of iplayer supported devices?   https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/supported-devices/samsung#2014  Removed from some devices due to not meeting technical requirements. see information here https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1576487533  However could still check you have the latest update from 2017 https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/BD-H8900M/XU/ .
