Hello! Is it possible to connect a Sonos sound system (e.g. the Sonos Arc Soundbar) to the LSP9T projector? I would like to use a corresponding 5.1 system from Sonos. Does anyone here have experience with this?

Yes, I have arc, sub and two Sonos Ones connected for 5.1. It sounds great but sometimes sound doesn’t work and need to reset the projector. Other issue that I’ve seen in other threads is the Sonos somehow turns on the projector randomly. It’s happened to me a few times over the last month or so. Samsung wanted me to send my projector in when I contacted them but it clearly won’t happen unless they have Sonos connected. I’m connected using HDMI arc and the red indicator light blinks a good bit l. When unplugged from hdmi it is solid until I push power button. Very strange.

Hi John, this is the first time I've heard of the issue of a Sonos Soundbar turning on a piece of kit turned off, HOWEVER I have a Bose Soundbar 500 that sometimes turns on my Samsung 50" TV in the bedroom, also connected by eARC. I have no problems with my Sonos Playbar or Arc turning on the TVs they're connected to the Playbar is on Optical though and the Arc on eARC (both on Samsung TVs). With the Bose in their app that ties in with their kit there is an option to select IF your soundbar causes the TV to turn on after being turned off, however it's not a full cure, because it still does it. I used to particularly notice the issue if I was streaming something to the TV that wasn't just watching something on Freeview. It's a strange 'feature' and I'm not sure if it's down to the Soundbars or TV kit (or even the choice of HDMI cable). I'm planning on replacing the Bose 500 at some point with a full surround sound system with a Beam at the heart of it to see if it gets rid of the problem, but also of course to get 5.1 off that entertainment setup.
