On my Q800T soundbar digital hdmi to hdmi3 earc on my QLED Q800T 8K tv set i found a setting in soundbar control for eARC when i connected to the eARC on the soundbar it was like a new world of sound. The tv speakers synced with the sound bar speakers and a truly magnificent sound of each instrument could clearly be heard and on volume 25 it was as loud as 90 volume on sound bar alone. Awesome sound. then tied in swa 9000 rear speakers and it was like being in a cinaplex theater perfect surround experience.

turn everything off. plug in your swa9000s receiver the blue light should be blinking if its not reset on rear of it with ink pen tip. On your soundbar remote with everything off except the 9000s push the volume and hold for about 8 seconds you should see ID sync on the soundbar. let go of the volume and turn the soundbar on the blinking light will turn solid and connection made then when you go through control on soundbar to set volume on each componenttreble, bass, front, center, you will the see rear speaker and that is for the volume on the 9000s speakers

After a long and arduous search, I found the SWA-8500s as an open box item at a Best Buy a few miles away. When I got home, I found it was actually the SWA-9000/za, so I decided to try it anyway. It works like a charm with my HW-60QT sound bar. I don't know what the difference is between the SWA-9000/za and the SWA-9000s.

I have the same sound bar and I was able to get the SWA-9000s to work. Try using a paper clip to press the ID Set button just below the speaker connections on the back.

The letter suffix on the model number is all about the power plug.
The S is UK, the ZA is USA
