Hi, I have a Samsung QE50 TV and a Samsung K450 soundbar. I have them connected via Bluetooth. However, when I turn off the TV and then turn it on again the soundbar doesn't come on. Even when I turn it on I then have to go into the TV settings to switch to the soundbar. Can you help? Thank you

Why Bluetooth? That's not good for sound quality.

I doubt the Bluetooth connection method has the ability to wake up the soundbar. use eARC.

other soundbar manufacturers (Majority, LG as an example)  default to last BT connection when power on which is very helpful - Samsung does not which is a pain.  And I use Bluetooth (i am guessing original poster is also) as i cannot run cables from output device (Fire TV) to soundbar.

I have BT auto link switched on however guessing this is only a Samsung only feature.

 

For context, my prior Soundbar (Majority K2) automatically reconnected via Bluetooth to the Fire Tv when i switched on the soundbar.  Does anyone know how to do this with a Samsung (HW-B530/UX) soundbar
