Recently purchased new Q700 Sound Bar and QN65 NEO-QLED TV. Everything set up perfectly right away and was able to able both Sound Bar and TV to Smart Things app and ebale connection between the 2 via Wi-Fi. This is the only way to have Q-Symphony work. Everything worked great up until 2 weeks ago when Sound Bar lost Wi-Fi connection and would not reconnect with the TV. Sound Bar is now connected to TV via Bluetooth and no more Q-Symphony.
I have done everything I know how to do to try and connect back to Wi-Fi but they just won't connect again. I called Samsung tech support and it was like chasing my own tail. Hoping someone on here can lend a hand or advice.

Hi, unfortunately I don’t have a solution, I am in the same boat as you. I have tried everything and still won’t connect via WiFi. It worked perfect for about 3 weeks. Hoping someone has a solution soon as this is why I bought the frame tv and soundbar together.

I have figured it out . go. To settings - Support - System Update . and click . Update your TV.
After that go-to Device ... Run through all of the prompts till. They all. Say " Good "
Make sure you clear Cache . after this . Go back to sound . Find Q symphony . Apply .. should pair . & work

I had the same issue. Bought a new QLED tv and soundbar together. Q-Symphony worked great then stopped, saying the bandwidth of the tv and soundbar were different. However, I seem to have fixed it…
Go to sound settings, then sound output, then go to Bluetooth speakers list, I removed/forgot the soundbar then re-paired it with the tv. That was Bluetooth sound working fine and when I switched to Q-Symphony that was working too.
Maybe try that? Hope it works.

I agree. Spending thousands of pounds on a premium setup to have it not to work and no solution is beyond frustrating. Samsung need to get this fixed. My product is 6 weeks old and technically not working as advertised.
Unfortunately my solution didn’t last and I had to go through the process again. And sadly it didn’t work the second time. Instead I switched off power at the wall to my TV, soundbar and internet connection for 10seconds. When I rebooted, it all seemed to connect with no problems.
Samsung, you need to fix this as a matter of urgency as right now, from my experience, Q-Symphony is feature that only last 6 weeks. Fix it or replace my products.

I had this same issue and resolved by hard resetting the soundbar (hold + and - for 5+ seconds). Then setup and reconnect to wifi. I also recommend a separate router than what is provided by your ISP (resolved stuttering and bandwidth matching issues) with a dedicated 2.4ghz network (devices were not listed when connected to 5ghz only and you don't want disconnects from the router switching between bands).
If you don't understand this, modern technology isn't for you.

I have diagnosed this issue as a user related error. 😆
