Please advise: The bass/Treble and the 7 band graphic equaliser controls on this sound bar are only adjustable in the Standard sound mode. The settings are not applied to any of the surround sound mades. Is this correct or do I have a faulty unit? Many thanks.

It's most likely correct, my TV does that too for most picture and sound options

Thanks for your reply, it is not the TV, it is the controls on the sound bar  that I am referring to.

I know but the same kind of restrictions will apply, the preset sound fields aren't meant to be modified, only the standard one will be unlocked so to speak
