I recently bought the HW-N950 soundbar. I hooked it up to my Samsung 55KS8000 2016 TV over HDMI ARC and everything works out well.
However, when I connect my external device (PS3 or laptop) to HDMI 1 & 2 of the soundbar for HDMI pass through, only audio signals are sent and the video shows as no signal. If I change from HDMI ARC to a regular HDMI connection on the TV, then I can see the video as well.
I am running on 1001.2 firmware and the app doesn't upgrade it to the 1003 firmware. In a way its good, as I can see in other samsung forums that people have suggested not upgrading as the new firmware breaks more than it fixes.
Is there anyone else having the N950 soundbar also facing the same issue?

Has it been that long?? Wow, it has indeed, I checked the message that was sent to the productspecialist and I'm afraid he either overlooked it or something went wrong within our system. Either way, I haven't heard any news yet and just sent him a personal note to take a look at it (again). I'm so sorry for the long wait, but I'll be sure to ask him as well if I run into him tomorrow.

I'm so sorry Vinith! For some reason your question had disappeared from my radar, but I immediately checked again with our productspecialist and the only way we can really know if the TV has a defect or the soundbar, is by testing your Playstation and soundbar on a TV of the same model/series in a store. Is that an option for you?

What problems have you faced for Audio over ARC when external device's HDMI is connected to the soundbar?

Arc didn't connect properly sometimes it stops with the connection and i had to connect it throug bluetooth. That is a common problem with ARC. You can read about it on the internet. Now everything is working fine. I bought my soundbar HW n950 two weaks ago. Todoy i recived my HDMI cables from https://www.ruconnected.nl/ what a diffirence with my old cables Netflix from my Xbox is much brighter en clearer with no interference or glitches. the atmos sound sounds better i think en there's no holp up in the sound.

Dears,
The last two days i have lost the connection to TV ARC as an option from my soundbar and the soundbar is not identified by my Samsung TV (UE55JU7500). Unfortunately the WIFI connection is also lost and my SmartThings app mentions that the Soundbar is Offline (while the WIFI connection works fine).
Interestingly though, the Anynet+ stopped working too. The only device connected to the soundbar is Playstation 4 (even though the remote controls of the soundbar and from the TV are not synchronized).
What i have already done is:
1) Unplug all devices for more than 5 minutes
2) Changed the HDMI cables
3) Switch Anynet+ from Yes to No and back to Yes
4) Reset WIFI
5) Synchronize WIFI by pressing the corresponding button at the bottom several times
Can you please recommend what process i shall follow to have my soundbar functioning properly over again?
Is there an issue with my Soundbar?
Any kind of feedback will be more than appreciated!,
