I just got a new 65” S90C tv and am attempting to hook it up to my a/v receiver, a pioneer vsx-1021-k via the tv’s hdmi ARC I/O to the reciever’s OUT I/O, as the receiver instructions say to. However, once I do this, the receiver turns off after about 15 seconds. I turn the receiver back on, it turns back off again after 15 seconds. When I disable the tv’s ARC capabilities in the external devices menus of the tv, this behavior stops, so it seems the tv is sending some sort of signal to the receiver to turn off when it shouldn’t be. Anyone know of any fix to this?
