Hi all,
I've got an QE49Q70R which I am very happy with, but the one downside I find is that when I want to switch to an device that is hooked up to my receiver it doesn't switch input on the receiver itself.
For instance, when I am watching Youtube using the TV the source channel on the receiver is TV (audio via ARC). When I then want to play on my Xbox it switches the TV to HDMI input 4 (which goes to receiver HDMI out) and switches the receiver to HDMI input 1, which is not the Xbox. Is there an option to configure the universal remote to also switch the input of the receiver which corresponds to the device I want it to be?
The receiver which I'm talking about is an Pioneer VSX-933.
Thanks!

Welcome to te Samsung Community.
Does Anynet work without the receiver? And did you check whether the TV is up-to-date?

Hi Bruce,
I think that you mean with "Does Anynet work without the receiver?" connecting my Xbox directly to the TV. haven't tried that yet, will do. TV is up to date.
thanks.

Hi Bruce,
Yes I did yesterday and as expected, it did work. In the "Setup Universal Remote" I am able to select an HDMI port, but ONLY for the TV.
So I had it like this:
HDMI HDMI ARC
[ XBOX ] -------- [ TV ] ------------- [ RECEIVER ]
But as it is quite impossible to run new or more HDMI cables (have to get a contractor out, devices are on another floor) I want to use my receiver as a HDMI multiplexer. Except I am unable to configure the universal remote to switch the receiver input.
So like this:
HDMI HDMI ARC
[ XBOX ] -------- [ RECEIVER ] ------------- [ TV ]
Now I did find out that there is an option to configure the universal remote MBR through the Smartthings app, so I will try that.
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Koen
