Hello Samsung Community,
In my opinion (aswell as many others) there is a fatal design flaw in the way Samsung TVs and Soundbars handle the "Game Pro" sound option.
When exiting the "Game Mode" on the TV, the soundbar does not switch back from the "Game Pro" mode.
This means I have to manually switch back to "adaptive" or "normal" once I want to watch Netflix or listen to music.
I have done some research and found that this behaviour is by design and not a bug.
I found numerous posts that critized this behavious since the "Game Pro" mode is absolutely not suited for anything other than gaming. Having to manually switch the sound mode is very annoying and makes me want to switch to another TV Brand if this is not fixed.
I really hope someone here can get in touch with Samsung so this behaviour can be turned off or be altered so that we don´t have to manually switch sound modes everytime we exit the "Game Mode" on our TVs.
I use a Samsung QN93A TV paired with my new HW-Q935B Soundbar.

Agreed.
This is unacceptable.
@Samsung - why are you choosing to stay silent on this? This needs to be fixed ASAP.

This issue is really frustrating. I am having this on samsung 65" qled q85R + samsung soundbar hwq80r + playstation 5. Always after turning off the console, I need to turn of the the game sound mode manually to inteligent adaptive mode in order to have normal sound in all other apps/tv.
Please @Samsung consider fixing that if my next tv setup suppose to be same brand

I had the same problem changing from PS5 to normal tv. What fixed it for me was turning on intelligent mode. When changing from PS5 game pro sound mode back to tv, it kept the adaptive sound setting I had before without manually changing it. Hope this helps.

2 years on and this is still an issue. Crazy. I have a Q95T TV and just bought an S60D soundbar and experience the same issue. I've seen many other complaints about this with varying combinations of Samsung TVs and soundbars.
With Game Mode (picture) on and I start the PS5, sound mode automatically switches to Game which I don't like as various sounds are lost. Then when shutting down the console and return to live TV or any other input source, it retains Game sound instead of reverting to the original mode. So I have to set it manually again.
I created a routine in SmartThings app which changes sound mode to my preference (Standard) when input switches to PS5. This works BUT some games turn Game Mode (picture) Off then On again which (yep you guessed it) forces sound mode back to Game. Very very frustrating. So I have to manually change it back otherwise when I switch PS5 off, the TV stays in Game sound mode. Sure I can create another routine to set sound mode back to Standard when input changes to TV but this is getting silly now.
Why is the game sound mode being forced on us? This is just ridiculous and needs to be fixed. I'm sure its possible because it works with the picture mode (Game Mode reverts to original picture mode).
Oh and I tried the suggestion to enable Intelligent Mode but unfortunately that didn't resolve the issue
