N650 Soundbar pairing problems

Hi

can anyone help with my Soundbar please. It's only a year old and it's not pairing with my subwoofer. I have tried manually pairing but this hasn't worked. When I try to update the firmwear but the USB port doesn't want to work as well. Don't want to throw it away as it cost a lot of money last year. Is there a way to factory reset. It has been working ok apart from it not seeming to get any louder after level 28 on the volume setting
