I've just setup my new HW-Q950T soundbar and the WiFi signal is weak.

Can anyone tell me how to change the WiFi network settings for the soundbar so I can try a different network?

You don't need a full reset, one may additionally try a sequence of press 1. network button at the bottom of soundbar,  2. delete the device from smartthings, 3. Connect to the new or preferred ssid on your phone, 4. Scan and add device again from app, 5. If in step 4, the smart things app doesn't let you select new or preferred ssid for the soundbar, try disabling the ssid, the soundbar connected to earlier from your router for a few minutes, so that you see new/other ssids on the Smart things app in Step 4.

That's done the trick! The Network button in step one was key. Many Thanks. I don't suppose you know how to get spotify to work on it by asking Alexa? It says playing [Name of Song] on Spotify, but it never starts playing. Thanks for the above regardless!

My update. #2 "Delete device from smartthings" here is the current link to achieve this.

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078853/

After Steps 3. and 4. device (soundbar) now under new SSID and working fine via the smartthings app. Thanks NotSoWise.

I've tried everything above but can not get the sounder to register to a new SSID at home. All ideas are welcome. I am a bit flabbergasted that this change can not be made via the Smartthings app directly.

The one thing you can do is reset the wifi network port in a soundbar. On the bottom, there is an ID SET Button. Press for 30 seconds and NETWORK  will be OFF. Again for 30 seconds and NETWORK will be ON.

There is a problem with some routers with newest WPA3 (three) security. If You try to connect to WIFI with this security it will hang on the wifi port. ->You can recognize this situation during adding a device to the application. There will be questions about passwords but typing passwords will be impossible. You will not able to connect to any network until resetting the WiFi port including previous networks with WPA2 (two) security.

Followed @NotSoWise advice AND resetted the bar by pressing + and - for 5 seconds.

THIS HELPED and solved everything with my connectivity issues.
Check my post on anther thread if you have problems with spotify connect.

Worked for me after I changed all of my device connections to a different wifi band.
