HW-Q930C/Q990C Useable without the rear speakers?

I am wondering if the Q930C or Q990C are useable without the rear speakers, or is it the maybe better to just buy the Q800C?

You can actually use the 930C rear speakers as front! For the saving id go with Q800C the extra is basically for the rear speakers
