How to register for 5 year warranty when store unlisted

I bought a OLED TV (QE55S95DATXXU) from Currys. When I try to register for the 5 year warranty I have to pick the product (easy) then the store where I bought it. Currys isn’t in the list.

There is a message saying ‘Store not found? select other’ but this is the only place the word ‘other’ appears on the screen. Entering Other as a store doesn’t help. Any idea how to get past this step?

Tried from my iPad and Chrome on a computer, both do the same thing.

Hi, and warm welcome

Unfortunately Curry's is not in the list of eligible 3rd party retailers, full list of eligible retailers can be found in here:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/offer/5-year-samsung-tv-warranty/participatingretailers/
You will still have 12 months standard manufacturer's warranty.
Sorry for inconvenience caused.

Hi @BatteriesIncluded I know it is such a disappointment but when these types of offers are available best to check before purchasing. You may have assumed that a store such as Curry's would be included but not the first instance of this happening.

Just to mention that Richer Sounds and John Lewis often offer extended warranties on a number of products (1st year with manufacturer and rest with store)

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Thanks for the info guys. I spoke to Currys to find out why they were not in that list and it turns out they run their own extended warranty scheme and have registered my TV in that.

Live and learn.

It's a bit of a con Curry's should know that they are not on the list (and who's heard of most of the retailers on there) and not advertise as having a 5 year warranty. Who checks these things before hand.

Just called up Curry's service plan and they have added it to their warranty.
