I am having a glitch where an external input source is trying to send Dolby digital through the TV and out to the soundbar via Optical Out, I am getting a severe sound lag even with both audio sync settings at 0. I spoke with Samsung support who were not very helpful. The TV is supposed to support Dolby Digital passthrough as far as I know but so far it is not actually working well.
The TV is a 58NU7100 and the soundbar is a HW-M360.
The setup is PS4 > HDMI > TV > Optical > Soundbar.
Can anyone help me with how to troubleshoot this?

I have the same issue with the RU7405 model. I do PS4 - TV - ARC - Sonos Beam. When PS4 is set to bitstream Dolby theres a bad delay. Works fine with PCM.

Yeah me too, on 2 Samsung TVs one with PS4 pro and one with ps5 one with soundbar and one with cinema system both hdmi arc, I tried an toslink optical cable and it's still the same, seems to be only if set to Dolby digital or DTS works fine on PCM but PCM is only 2 channels via 5.1, anybody find a fix to this?
