Asked this new Deepseek AI two simple questions and it got both wrong. Appears it's not been updated since July 2024. When I enabled web search it didn't even answer.

Yeah but your using a random AI to get info that is seemingly out dated created by the Chinese likely to try to claim dominance over the western AI systems but really the likes of Gemini that is always updating through web scrapes would likely find you the correct answers over a limited search engine as that is all deepseek seems to be.

To be fair from what I found on it, it's the Amazon answers of AI.

I know but a lot of people have downloaded it and will believe what it tells them.

It's a fair point but it's the unfortunate world we live in, really what can be fully trusted? Even the larger systems can scrape inaccurate data or pieces it together wrongly.

That's why I don't really bother with AI.

Fair point though all models will give some inaccurate answers (even if up to date)    https://siliconangle.com/2024/09/26/study-even-larger-ai-models-improve-answering-questions-leads-wr...

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I did the same, I asked it about the S25 Ultra and some of the details were incorrect such as price, battery size to name a couple.

I suspect it has further work to be done on it.

Chinese are killing it, I trust China as much as I trust the USA. Infact I trust China more, they can have all my data as the US already has it

AI is about learning and over time it will get better and better. The Deepseek model looks impressive and that's why the US is worried. They cant charge stupid prices anymore and in traditional US fashion if you can't beat it Ban and discredit it

That's my two cents anyway

Samsung should use Deepseek
