Today X is also started giving away its grok AI for free and feels pretty good at what it does.
It joins Microsoft's CoPilot and Google's Gemini AI models in offering these for free and keeping the higher and larger models under subscription.
Why are they giving away free?
1. Competition and lots of it.
2. AI. Although is generative still needs source and information from real people like yourself and me to enhance its capabilities.
I have always said it like web 3.0 it will have to free for people to start using it. The more people use it the better it will get and better companies will be able to harness its true power.
Looking forward to what Samsung will be doing next year.
Seems like they have already started with sending emails to people to get your vouchers for AI and other goodies and discount.
