Samsung Galaxy AI Features - Free ..... For Now!!!

I've just been reading many threads where it's been discovered, in the Samsung small print, that AI features may be chargeable from end of next year!

"Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until at least the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices"

Has me wondering already, and I've not even got the phone yet, how much theyl want to charge for that, on top of the already premium handset prices 😕

I think all manufacturers will be putting up paywalls in front of some of their best AI features in the future. Samsung have given us until 2026 which is something. I suspect Google will bring in paywalls notably earlier than this. Considering how much we pay for our devices, I personally think this should be an all in price to include access to all future AI features.

Maybe we  should not be totally surprised and perhaps would only apply to certain features but think it definitely  should be inclusive on premium devices.

Haven't seen anywhere about paying for AI stuff besides rumours.

Also if they start charging people won't buy.

AI is a bit tricky since every dick and Harry is doing it and lots of them are free ATM.

As time goes on it will become more crazy and cheaper and probably change and revolutionise the Internet as we know it.

So putting it under a pay wall will not help its growth.

I don't think it will happen. I heard rumours for years that samsung phones will have ads everywhere in them. Has it happened? No course not as it would be straight to pixel or another phone that didn't do it and I'm sure others would be the same. Same thing will apply to AI I believe

Even if they did charge, by the end of 2 years, one would know how much of the AI features they use. So it maybe something you may not even want/need. In 2 years, some people may upgrade to another brand. 2 years is a long time to use the AI feature.

So apparently the A.I features on the new s24 are free........... until 2025 when you will be charged a subscription to use them 🤔😐.

Hopefully Samsung will change their minds,but if this is the case then personally I will be moving on to a different phone brand.

I just love Samsung phones,but after paying out a premium price for the phone, only then to be charged extra to use the phone to its fullest just doesn't sit right with me.

Again hopefully 🤞 Samsung doesn't follow through with this.
