More info on the April One UI7 release

Samsung's One UI 7 update, starting April 7th, brings significant changes to the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. This Android 15-based update features a redesigned UI, new icons and animations, and AI-powered features like the Now Bar and improved Writing Assist.

While some AI features are exclusive to the S25 series, the update will later roll out to other Galaxy devices.

I'm on the same side, much rather see people enjoying their new software (one ui 7) rather having difficulties and bugs. And yes, one ui 6 it's great 😊

Android 14 or OneUI 6 was released in October 2023, so before the S24 series was released.

Just an official note from our side, we have been briefed that the official rollout of One UI 7 will start on 7th April 2025. The update will be available starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, gradually rolling out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

I don't have any further news to share, but just wanted to assure you all that the 7th April is indeed the start of the One UI 7 rollout.

I did write that it was the wrong comment, I didn't see that it was the A series.

But the fact is that Samsung released Android 14 in October 2023. Samsung is very late with Android 15

Samsung released March security patch 5th March in Korea. EU get it 10 days later

Here's a possible reason why Samsung is delaying OneUI 7 on older flagships. OneUI 7 AI features (except Now Brief) work faster on S24 ultra and Z flip 6 than on S25 ultra, which only confirms the speculations that Samsung hastily released the unfinished OneUI 7 with the S25 series (were 3 years not enough for them?!)
