Smart Tag 2, Smart Button Sound option

Hi there everyone, i have a question about the Smart Tag 2.

Not too long ago, the tag received an update and from 19something, it's gone to 0.20.04 and i saw a new setting called "Smart button sound" and i have no clue what this does. Has anyone figured out what that does yet?

It allows you to turn off the beep when you press the button, it's below where you set the sound

Ah, is that actually it? Haha wow, i look dumb af now.

The button can be pressed as normal but the sound won't be audible, correct?

Think so yeah. I never linked my button to anything so I'd constantly lean on it and set it off. Now there's no sound, it's way better

I just tested it and indeed the button is working just fine with no sound. Honestly that setting should've been a thing since the tag released but hey ho, better late than never.

I will leave it on lol cuz if i accidentally press it, then i will know😂
