Smart Tag 2 cannot be found, says it is not registered to my account anymore

When I open my smart things app and search for a specific tag, it will always take me to the next screen where it says 'not near me' but when I press 'view map' it won't show me the location and give an error message:

"The device you selected isn't registered to your samsung account"

is there a limit on tags per account? I have tagged 250+ items with this account but I never got an error message saying I couldn't do that or that others would be taken off... and I for sure registered them to my account because how else would it show up in my app?

Besides that, I couldn't find too much info on it. I have a feeling most people have a few, maybe 8 max. You might be using so many that you've found a bug. Really curious what you're up to to be using over 250 tags lol

I saw that too, but it specifically says 200 connections to a phone, not an account. I assumed that referred to purely the hardware limitations of a single phone in a room with 200+ tags

I do not have any of the tags in the room with me at this moment
