S Pen Pro won't connect with GalaxyBook 2 360.

Brand new laptop, brand new pen.

Followed the online manual instructions for connecting, multiple times, no result.

likewise with the instructions in the leaflet with the pen, as they were slightly different. likewise no result.

Help please!
