Heyo everyone. Remember maybe a week ago when our smart tags all got an update? I finally spotted what's new.

"Notify when movement detected"
It says it will notify you once the smart tag has moved. Eg for a bike or a car to let you know if it's started moving.

It isn't compatible with power save mode, it disables UWB and disables some finding features.
It also uses more battery.

No idea how it works, testing it now

Excellent great find , I had to try through the find app not Smartthings app.

Since the tags themselves have no gyro of actual motion sensors. I'm guessing it works like this.

You walk away from your tracker, this location is remembered. If a samsung user walks past and is in the same general location, nothing happens. If a samsung user walks past and the location is different, then it pings.

Thats my best guess of how it works, so far I've just walked around my house with a tracker and nothing happened.

Though the fact that UWB and other features get disabled, it might work totally differently. There's no info on this yet so it's for us to figure out
