Help, i have some problem with samsung travel adapter 25w model ep-ta800

Has anyone encountered a similar problem charging a Samsung s22 or other phone with this  travel adapter 25w ep-ta800? When I put the phone on charge, it starts charging and after a second it just stops, then it starts again and stops again. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I’ll also add that everything is new and literally just taken out of the box.

I would return it for refund or replacement. Whilst they aren't expensive, I wouldn't risk it myself.

I suggest not using it in case any electrical problems might occur if you try to repair it yourself or damage it I do not currently know what it is I suggest you either return it and do not repair it yourself or go to the Samsung store wherever you live and see if they can give you a replacement. Sorry that I cannot give you the full answer
