Freestyle projector battery problems

I purchased the official Samsung Freestyle battery in June last year. Haven't used it much but tried last night and it looks completely dead. Attempted to charge with the official Samsung charger and cable and after 8 hours it's just a single white flashing light? 

Any ideas or help would be appreciated, thanks.

The same thing has happened to my battery too. Is the advice to return them ?

Samsung are not interested at all regarding this issue.

I have one of these which has worked perfectly for 5 charges and now will no longer charge. All they keep telling me is to buy a new one! This works out at 25 to 30 pounds per use. I can purchase a larger battery pack for half the cost of the Samsung. All I can say is do not buy this accessory. Sadly it spoils the quality of an amazing projector and leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.

Has anyone had any joy here as Samsung have completely ignored my 3 request to replace my faulty Freestyle battery.  They provide the usual trouble shooting each time, but as soon as I get past the "Try another charger" or "Try a different cable" they shut down completely.  Absolutely appalling customer care from Samsung, Id expect so much more from a company like this.  Thank god for the Pixel 8 Pro.

FWIW, the XGIMI HALO+ is similarly priced, has a battery, twice as bright (verified measured ANSI Lumens), half the fan noise, stereo 10W speakers …but it just doesn’t support NETFLIX natively (that’s NETFLIX cutting off their nose to spite their face)

Ps. I’d like to know how many people that bought the FREESTYLE Battery are not having problems …only the problems tend to get reported - my uncle who is currently living in South Africa bought the FREESTYLE on my advice; I warned him about the Battery - he said the store claimed their Batteries are sourced elsewhere compared to Europe! !! ?

The same thing happened with one I purchased just over a year ago.. I've made numerous attempts to charge it, but it won't hold any charge. 

Has anyone been offered a solution yet?

If someone would be brave enough to dissect an out of warranty and dead battery base, would be interested to see what is inside …I’ll bet it’s a dozen SAMSUNG rechargeable batteries networked together…could just be a loose contact, possibly the heat generated contorting it
