Hearing aids

When My phone is connected to my hearing aids I can hear fine but callers can't hear me. Any tips?

@AndrewSage: Try heading to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > On > Tap the cog to the right of your hearing aids, and check to see if 'Calls' can be toggled on. I also recommend consulting with the manufacturer to see if they're able to shed light on this, or highlight any restrictions you might face with your hearing aids while taking calls.

I play cello with others and I would like to use an external microphone to stream the music being performed to my hearing *****. I can stream YouTube phone calls and other audio signals on my phone to my hearing ***** (using "direct audio streaming) but not from my mikes attached to my phone. the microphone input is detected ok as can be recorded with voice recorder apps but I cannot get the mike audio to stream like I can other audio signals. Any suggestions?
