I love Samsung and have been a loyal customer since I switched from the iPhone 4 over 15 years ago.
My mum suffers from severe hearing loss and requires hearing aids. Unfortunately, neither my Samsung S23 Ultra nor her Samsung S21 allow for audio streaming and answering phone calls with her hearing aids. She has Oticon hearing aids. This basic function dramatically improves the quality of one's hearing. Additionally, the iPhone, even its older models like the iPhone 8, allow for these two functions. With Samsung, I can use a companion app for personalisation, but I cannot connect to the hearing aids and require an app. Unfortunately, most hearing aids connect seamlessly to iPhone users, which enables them to get more customers. I wish Samsung could work well with hearing aids, but they can't. Therefore, I bought my mum an iPhone so that she can get better support and help to manage her hearing loss.
Lastly, I went to the Apple store. A hearing-impaired lady and an interpreter expertly supported me, and it was amazing to see that level of inclusivity in staff, which I had never seen in a Samsung store. Of course, not all disabilities are visible, but it was nice to see how Apple made allowances for different workers.
