Battery draining

seem that the battery is being drained quickly since  the last andoid  update ,  any idea ?  -May 2019. S9+

(It also is noticed in S8)

One or more.of your downloaded apps may not be fully optimised since the update.

 

Pleqse take a look in your device care section to see if anything is highlighted in the battery usage section.

 

Put the phone in Safe Mode which disables your downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones working and then see if the battery life improves.

 

If.it does then come out of Safe Mode and start deleting your most recent apps one at a time until you see an improvement.

 

 

If things don't improve then turn the phone off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phones system files and delete the cache files which might help.

 

If not then consider backing up , then remove any Sd card and Factory Reset.

 

Also a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic test on the phone.
