I am of the opinion that you charge you smart watch when the battery level is at its lowest say 5%. As soon as it is charged to 100% then stop charging. In the long run this will extend the life of the battery. What do you think?
Also this is true when charging your phone.

Hey @TheArchetect
On much older types of batteries, the advice used to be to discharge them completely. This is not the case for modern smartphone batteries. Completely discharging the battery on your device may reduce its life.
It's best not to let your battery go under 20%.

Today's phones and watches are intelligent enough as to stop drawing charge when it hits 100%, and reverts to trickle charging.
I've personally had no issue letting my phone and watch and Tablet charge to 100%
That said I'm also in the camp of not letting it go below 15%.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
