Hi,
After the ui6 update, the galaxy watch6 media controller app is bugged. The fast forward/rewind/skip track/15s skip buttons do not work or respond at all.

I notified samsung and they said they aren't aware of this issue and to please "reproduce the issue caused by the bug" and send it to them. Seriously? How could I possibly reproduce the fast forward/rewind feature not working and send that to them?🤦‍♂️

1st: where did you notify them. So we can all send them our frustration.

2nd: use you your phone to load youtube or similar app that used to work with the watch. Then use the video record on your phone to look at your watch while you press buttons to prove it doesn't work.

You can change the audio to go through a Bluetooth device if needed.

I have exactly the same issue.  When I use PLay Books by Google, Please Samsung, fix the issue.

My watch worked fine until the update that I installed yesterday. Now I have the same problem. It appears Samsung doesn't actually pay any attention to these forums.

It's so annoying that the media controls still aren't working right on my watch. It's been awhile  and now OneUI 7 came out, and they haven't fixed it. This makes using my watch for YouTube controls or music a real pain. I hope they address this soon because it's a pretty basic feature. It shouldn't be this hard to control playback.

I too had the same issue. I tinkered with notification settings and even reset my watch. But none of them solved the problem.

If I turn on the watch and start playing music, the controls wouldn't work. But one "trick" that seemed to kinda work is that if I play some youtube, that seems to unclog whatever's been happening. After that if I play my music, that seems to work fine .

This has been my observation so far

The "Media Controller" app on my Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic only fails when I play audiobooks from my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra using the Google Books app, specifically when I want to skip forward or rewind 15 seconds. On Spotify and YouTube Music, the media controls work fine, but with audiobooks, the next and back buttons become disabled.

I am still waiting for help from Samsung.
