Are samsung delay the watch new software so they can get people to buy the new Watch??

No, one ui8 has only just been launched and it has started with S25 Series for existing devices.

Fold and Flip 7 launched yesterday have One UI8 out of the box. Watches launched yesterday similarly.

Once the Watch update is ready, Samsung will release.

No , usa and one other country has the beta already, samsung are delayed the new software fir rhe watch , I am on the beta for the s25 ultra android 16 and it worked fine.

Theu haven't delayed it.
Typically only the USA and Korea get the watch beta software
The full release won't come out until at least after the Watch 8 starts shipping.
But even then it will probably be a month or so before older watches start receiving the software
As theres no release date for the software. Bit difficult to know when it will arrive

Is UI8 open to new Beta testers in the UK and if so, how can I apply to become a beta tester on Samsung Watch Ultra (2024) model?

no beta in the uk yet and not sure if there going to be one .

UI8 is the only reason I'm holding onto my Ultra watch. Sleep tracking is next to useless, as is sleep apnea detection because it uses sleep tracking as a resource. It's been an issue for over 3 months and samsung keep telling me there's a fix coming. If that fix is UI8 then great, but please let it arrive soon or I will give up and move to Apple.
