Watch 7 vs Ring health monitoring

Putting size and battery life aside what's are the health monitoring differences between the Watch 7 and the Ring? I've order my new Watch 7 but wondering if getting the Ring would provide anything extra in health monitoring. The one thing I do see is the Ring staying on when I sleep as I do have to take the watch off at night but it's the anything else to make it worth buying?

I'm not sure what the Ring brings given the 30% improved GW7 Bio Sensor.

As you rightly said. The ring is a better option while sleeping.

Also having both the ring and watch will hopefully give better and more accurate results as they will compliment each other.

It also gives you an opportunity to relieve yourself of the bulky watch now and then.

Also the ring has gesture support to take photos and stuff which might come handy in some situations.

Also would love to know how you much paid for both and if you did any trade ins.

I've ordered the watch 7 44 mm and got a trade-in of £110 for my watch 6 classic. Using the shop app exclusive code APPZ gave me 10% off. The ring is a lot more expensive than the watch, so I can not justify the extra expense since I'm more interested in my health and fitness. I'd probably look at buying the Ring later on when it's been out for a whole and some offer is available. Right now I'm more likely to buy the Buds Pro 3 for exercising with

I guess the watch 7 ultra has more benefits with sleep apnea monitoring and other stuff.

The ring benefits from around a week battery life , no subscription, light weight, and sort of compliments the watch.

The watch is a better buy if you had to choose unless you don't care about all the functions and just need basic functions of the ring.
